AKANA LIFERAFT WARANTY POLICY    

 

The subject of this contract, LIFE RAFT, purchased by the Consumer, is limited to a period of one year (12 months) from the date of delivery of the goods. All parts of the goods, including all parts, are covered by warranty.

 

In the event that the goods are found to be defective, the consumer may exercise the rights set forth in Article 11 of the Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers;

a- Return from the contract,

b- Requesting a discount on the sale price,

c- Request repair free of charge,

ç- Requesting the replacement of the sold product with a defect-free equivalent,

can use one of the rights.

 

In the event that the consumer chooses the right to free repair from these rights, the seller is obliged to repair or have the goods repaired without any charge under labor cost, replacement part cost or any other name.

 

Malfunctions arising from the use of the goods contrary to the points in the user manual are not covered by the warranty. In addition, the correct installation, use, storage and maintenance of LIFE RAFT are also important issues in terms of warranty coverage.

 

In case of malfunction of the purchased product; the warranty company should be informed as of the moment the malfunction is detected by contacting via e-mail, telephone and address notified by the company. During the notification, it is obligatory to send all information such as pictures, minutes, etc. requested by the warrantor regarding the product.

 

Depending on the preference of the warrantor, the purchased LIFE RAFT must be transported safely to the production point determined by the warrantor. If it is determined that the LIFE RAFT is under warranty, the warrantor will cover all transportation costs of the LIFE RAFT subject to the complaint.

 

However, if it is determined that the LIFE RAFT is out of the scope of warranty within the scope of the determinations made, all minutes, pictures, etc. evidence containing the determination will be sent to the warrantee, and the warrantee must bear all inspection and repair expenses of the purchased LIFE RAFT.

 

In case of any nonconformity or damage stated below, your right of complaint will not be valid.

 

- Inflation of the life raft during normal use,

- The life raft ruptures, molds, disintegrates,

- Any modification, maintenance or service performed by a person not authorized by AKANA,

- Any non-compliance or damage caused by you or a third party,

- Any nonconformity or damage caused by heat, ultraviolet light, chemicals or petroleum products,

- Any nonconformity or damage caused by improper maintenance, misuse or improper storage,

 

EXPLANATION

 

1- The warranty certificate sample is a guide and is not a limiting text.

 

2- The warranty certificate sample has been prepared for the purpose of informing consumers and manufacturers, and manufacturers or importers may freely issue their own warranty certificates, provided that they comply with Law No. 6502 and the Warranty Certificate Regulation.

 

3- The provisions contained in the warranty certificate sample are only valid for sales where one of the parties is a consumer.
